FAQ
Can I create an account for my own use?
Yes. While College Board accounts are primarily for students to manage their college planning activities, you may want your own account so that you can, for instance, save information to a college financing calculator.
You'll still be asked for your student's information so we can provide customized services. If you want to be the one who receives all account-related emails, put your own email address in the student's email field.
Parent accounts shouldn't be used in connection with any official activities like registering for the SAT or viewing AP scores. For security reasons, there can only be one account tied to a student's official College Board record.
If you use your account to, for example, register your child for the SAT, they won't be able to use their own account to manage their registration or view their scores.
